CRAIG WINDER!!

Cecil College's own Craig Winder hit the game winning three pointer last night to beat the Tulsa 66ers in the NBDL championship! this shot capped off a a 16 point performance for tor the former Texas Longhorn and Cecil Seahawk in only 22 minutes.  It was late last night but good thing the bank stayed open for Craig!  To see the highlights of the game go to this link below.

Come on Pirates!!

The Pirates have hit a new all time low ladies and gentlemen. They are now 7-19 losing their last seven games to Houston and Milwaukee. To make matters worse, they have been outscored 72-12 that's right NOT a typo.... SEVENTY TWO AND TWELVE! SEVENTY TWO RUNS IN SEVEN GAMES!!! Thats over ten a game. this is coming off a three game sweep of the Reds. UNBELIEVABLE. I'm really about to give up on these guys. I never thought I would get to this point. I always said you know Gotta love the Buccos. At least they play hard. Well we've gotten to the point now where they are not really even playing hard and they all look like they are saying you know screw it we're gonna suck so thats that. It's early, I know so things may pick up but they are digging themselves a hole too deep that even if things do turn around they won't be able to recover. I really hope they wake up and things turn around soon so we can enjoy an at least competitive team in the most beautiful ball park in the country.

Steelers?

I don't understand the steelers. Bringing back everyone from the '05 Super Bowl team is not going to help the real problem the team has! they have leadership issues! they obviously do not have anyone in their locker room that will take "Pac Ben" out back and set him straight! One sexual assault, let alone two, "allegedly" or not it does not matter. The steelers whether you hate them or not you can not argue the fact that they have always had, mostly, good character players and I believe that a reason for this is because of the good leadership the team has had over the years. Now don't get me wrong Byrant Mcfadden is a good player and I think Larry Foote will add some depth with James Farrier getting old and everyone loves a little "El Yeah" but the guy the Steelers really need to take a look at is Alan Fanica. Now I know they didn't exactly part on the greatest terms but the Steelers and Fanica should reconcile if not for the only fact that Alan is a guy that has the "intestinal fortitude" AKA nuts to put Ben in his place so the team can concentrate on winning and not the distractions that are going to come with these kinds of actions! Oh well. maybe it will all work out. If anything, we will be seeing a LOT of Steelers coverage on ESPN in August! Only 98 more days till training camp! Tomorrow... Penguins Playoff column and Come on Buccossssss!

In this blog i will be talking about everything that I like. This includes, Pittsburgh Sports, sports in general, things about my internship with the Mylan Classic, anything that I see or do that I think is funny/interesting.
